Chef Pino Cuttaia

The event that changed the destiny of our farm was meeting chef Pino Cuttaia, during the Arte e Mestieri Food Fair in Comiso in 2004, where he was cooking and we had a small booth. He loved our product’s quality and had the idea of recommending them to his colleagues all over Italy.


In the meanwhile, Giombattista started looking into the Michelin and Espresso guides for potential customers. He then decided to send product samples to some hotels and restaurants so that they could try them. It was not an easy task. Some of these just sent the packages back without even opening them, but, luckily, some others appreciated so much that, not only became regular customers, but after all of these years can also be called “Friends” without any doubt. In this regard, we thank Stefano Mazzone – Executive Chef at the Grand Hotel Quisisana in Capri, Ettore Bocchia, Andrea Arienti and Manuel Ferrari – respectively Chef, Sous Chef and Pastry Chef at the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio, Massimo Mantarro – Executive Chef of the Sand Domenico Palace Hotel in Taormina and Accursio Craparo – Chef Patron of Accursio Ristorante in Modica.


We listen to our customer’s needs and, based on our long experience, we are able to offer excellent products of the maximum quality.

All products are harvested, packed and shipped on the same day, then delivered within 48 hours so that they can maintain their freshness.

Besides the vegetables that we grow, we also offer a small selection of other local products such as the Wild Oregano of the Monti Iblei, Red Garlic of Nubia, the Giarratana Onion.
